.....But you forgot the working time....... Our tower is open from 8AM to 12 and we come back after lunch from 2PM to 6 PM. out of the working time....blind transmission please........

Good one! But if Chuck thinks "Bob Hope" he might just end up at the "Bob Hope" airport instead (BUR Burbank, CA) which is a little off course... ;D I feel another strip coming on there.....

Very fun strip, even if it evolved from a serious problem in real aviation. Also great comments/additions from all here! |:)\
It reminds me of a joke I heard from some promo-clips from Rod Machado: A plane calls up an airport, no reply. It calls again and they get a reply: Please stand-by we're changing controllers. Another pilot replies: What are you guys using, Huggies or Pampers? ROFL (they are diaper-brands btw, a great remark about ATC, but in brotherly friendliness I'm sure).
