Title: "I'm so totally lost this time!"

This strip in the new Trade a Plane was really good! Are we going to see any more of the purple alien? All kinds of possibilities there:
*He lands, only Chuck sees him, they talk, alien leaves. Chuck tells everyone he met a space alien and, of course, nobody believes him. Have the alien show up from time to time with same result.
* Alien lands and he's the equivalent of Chuck from whatever planet he's from-- can't navigate, etc. He and Chuck thus form a natural bond.
*After alien and Chuck become friends, he comes back on Haloween. Chuck shows him off to prove he wasn't making the whole thing up, but everyone who sees the alien simply says something like "nice costume."
* Alien takes Chuck aboard his ship and hilarity ensues.
*Alien takes Chuck to his home planet for a visit.
I'm sure you guys can think of stuff along these lines. Of course, the alien would have to get a name. Maybe Kcuhc,.

Man Turbo! Those are some great ideas !!!! Sounds like a good couple of episodes if we ever make into the 22min TV show format....
We'll see what we can do with those ideas! Thanks for posting them!! ::wave:: ::wave::

Haha, I always think scriptwriters come up with aliens when they ran out of all other ideas... (oops!) But yes, those are some great ideas! |:)\ Especially the concept of "hilarity ensues"! ;) That's usually what Mike and I say when we're brainstorming and nothing comes to mind. ("okay, okay, Chuck goes to Julio and then.... says something funny!" "awesome idea!") ;D

I like the parallel universe idea where that alien is just like Chuck in their world!! I can see hilarity ensue from that one AND them saying something funny!! ;) ;D

Or do the Star Trek mirror universe thing... Chuck ends up in an alternate universe wherein his other self is a top-notch pilot, and very quiet and modest. Either alternate Chuck can't stand our Chuck and has to correct all the problems he causes, or having to deal with our Chuck drives alternate Chuck insane and he ends up becoming like our Chuck. Also possibilities of what the alternate universe versions of the other characters would be... alternate Julio and Hans could be interesting... Hmmmmm....
