Frigging (or freezing?) good video there! Don't know why, but winter freight flying actually hits a sweet spot in me..
Hey, and a suggestion since you uploaded the video: If the video has letterboxing (black areas on top and bottom) try to remove them before uploading.. They mess up the video and have no application whatsoever these days..

Actually, I like winter flying. But I'm not payed to fly so I just fly on clear days without icing conditions. I wouldn't think something like that if flying were a job and I had to fly under more difficult conditions. On clear days in winter, because of all the snow covering the ground, the sun reflect on the earth instead of warming it so the air is smooth. Also, aircraft performances are way better in cold days.
The only problem is the cabin vent on the wing of the cessna 172. You get blowing freezing air on the face even when closed. We used to block them with foam but transport canada inspectors asked to remove them (in case we need to ventilate the cabin in flight).
