Just saw an article about a midair collision near Grand Junction, CO, between a C-210 and a C-180.
The 180 managed a crash landing on a mesa and no one was hurt -- when the plane was spotted by searchers, the people were standing there, talking on their phones.
The 210 made it to the airport and, despite damage to the front of the plane, landed safely on its nose after circling to burn off fuel.
Man! Talk about amazing.... no one was even hurt!

That 210 was carrying a couple of prisoners on a prison transfer. I guess they didn't get lucky enough to manage to escape! ::rambo::
