Very cool video! Was it normal windgusts that made the outer fans rotate?

The fan on a turbofan engine is fairly free spinning.  Just a small amount of wind can cause them to turn.  The same is true of the props on our 1900s, as they are also a free turbine design (where the entire engine isn't directly connected to the rest).  If the wind is from the right angle, it can make the props (or in this case the fan) turn.

Kinda interesting you posted this.  I just watched a video about American Airlines in my management class.  They were talking about how labor and management were getting along post 9/11.

One of the things addressed was their aircraft service shop and their turn around time of aircraft.  I'm going to estimate numbers here cause i cant remember them exactly but by applying some systems theory and stream lining their bays/lines they reduced down time by something like 40%.  Also they were spending tons of money on buying new tools that wore out, ie drill bits saws etc.  AAL opened a new division devoted to retooling worn out tools, and refurbs their worn out stuff, and now saves something like 2 million a year by reusing old tools instead of buying new ones.  Kinda crazy stuff.
