Title: checklist mnemonics

While different folks have different ideas of what works best in the cockpit, I'm using the one my instructor uses... and I've never heard of it before. Ah, well. It seems to work pretty well anyway. I scribbled it down on my kneeboard notepad, but reading it in the cockpit was a bit of a pain, so I whipped together a new one in Paint, laminated it, and taped it under my notepad. I taped it only across the top so I can still easily access the material inscribed on the kneeboard itself. It'll be flight tested tomorrow.

Well that's a new one. I just know of SMOG for cars: Signals, Mirrors, Over the shoulder, then Go. To which Bill Engvall replied SUIT: Shut Up Immature Teenager (his daughter was taking driving lessons at the time and he'd backed his pick-up into an Escort also backing out from the other side at the same time).
It is a very cool printed list I think though 8) Btw, while typing this I just figured out the last part: I'M SAFE :D I plan on printing my own checklist too, setup so I can read it the best, and with notes that will help me. Btw, do you have it on a kneeboard, and if so then what size, A5?

Ergh, I can't tell you a size without looking at it, but I printed and cut it to fit the notepad I have clipped to my one piece aluminum ASA kneeboard. I used cardboard and clear tape to stiffen and laminate the list, and I taped it across the top, under the notepad.
