Bad Take-Off, Good Landing

We've got some bad news and some good news for you folks. Let me get the bad news off my chest first. Our new book seems to be somewhat ill-fated. After we kept procrastinating its publication during this year due to various minor obstacles and scheduling problems, we finally decided to start printing in September to have it ready for the Christmas sales. Since our new printer did a fabulous and smooth job on our coloring book, we didn't invite tenders for this print job in the faith that it would work out just as smoothly this time. Alas, we were mistaken! To cut a long story short, our new book (which is going to be called "Chicken Wings 3 - Think Big") will probably not be available before Christmas. And even if we receive it in December, it will be a close call to get it to you guys before Christmas. We guesstimate chances being about 50/50 right now, but we will definitely keep you updated on the progress and inform you if it works out!

That being said, there is a spark of hope for you to get your fix of new Chicken Wings comic strips! A good friend of ours, Martin Leeuwis, is publishing a new book soon. It is called "Good Landing" and is a collection of aviation cartoons from twenty different cartoonists from all over the world. Of course we didn't want to miss out on contributing some pages (including quite some unpublished material) to that great project! We were surprised about how many aviation cartoonists are out there! If you want to take a closer look at www.goodlanding.nl. We will be adding it to our online shops as soon as it comes out, which will be in approximately two weeks. In fact, our US Online Shop will be the first retailer in the US to carry this book!

We also have a couple of new Christmas Cards and a Mouspad in the works, which should be ready at about the same time as Good Landing.
