Surviving

I thought of this strip on one of my many many travels this summer. I got stopped at security and almost missed my plane because my little fluid bottles were in a "half gallon" plastic bag instead of a "quart size" bag. Of course the line came to a screeching halt due to this extreme security violation. Dumb me tried to argue the theory behind the rule but got shut down with a final "I don't make the rules, sir."
Well, after I finally made it to the gate they were showing a previous about the new survivor show on one of the monitors when I suddenly remembered the Jet-Blue incident earlier this year where they kept the passengers on the plane for hours....
Tada!
I hope you guys like this little insight into the comic creators mind.

The hurdle for me was if we could draw a looooong line of chickens to show the security hold-up. You couldn't tell it was a line when I drew the rough draft and I had to add some notes for my brother. But he did an awesome job with the artwork!
