Summing up the Con!

Comic-Con is already over for one week now and finally we find the time to give you a decent update! Sorry for taking so long, but we had to haul all our stuff back from San Diego to Vegas, making a brief stop in Los Angeles for my brother to show me his boat. Then I had to go back home to Vienna and catch up with some drawing work, and Mike went back to fire fighting somewhere in the depths of Idaho.

Anyway! Comic-Con was an amazing experience for all of us! We’ve been to airshows before, but this was our first comic convention. We had expected it to be big, but it exceeded all our wildest imaginations! We met so many nice people there, and I would like to thank everybody who stopped by at our booth to get a sketch, buy some of our gear and/or just have a chat! It really was a pleasure to meet all of you! We also made some business contacts that might come in handy in the future. After all that was one of our major reasons to go there in the first place.

We’ve compiled a couple of pictures for you in our forum.

We were interviewed at the con by Tom and Justin from Comics Coast To Coast, and you can listen to the podcast on their site. Scroll down to "Episode 10 – Comic Con". Our part is somewhere at about 2/3 of the interview.

By the way, Justin Thompson is an awesome dude! Not only is he an actor and professional stuntman, he works as an illustrator for Peanuts and creates his own comic called "MythTickle", which Mike and I really enjoy. Check it out!

And while we’re at dropping names, a big and special Hello goes out to our "neighbors" at the con, Chad and Christopher from Rabbit and Bear Paws, Sheatiel and Cody from Binary Winter, Tony from Cigarro & Cerveja and Travis from Bean Leaf Press. It was really great to get to know you guys!
