Fire Season has begun . . .

Well folks, it's that time of the year again. I am heading up to Ely today right after I finish writing this blog. We'll see how long we will be there and where I am going to end up. Be patient with me again since I might not always be able to return every phone call right away. I will try to stay in touch as much as I can.

I am looking forward to more "Adventures of Panaca Jane"! Half the crew is new this year and my relief pilots have changed as well. One of them is "Nobu" who we all know and love. I am sure there will be all kinds of new material soon. I hope we can get started on the next book this fall!
