Hey, congrats to both of you.  I remember when I soloed, my regular instructor was on vacation, so I got a new guy that had to run through everything with me the day I soloed.  Little nerve wracking, but it worked out.

Get used to getting "maintenanced".  At least you don't have scheduling issues, as well.   ;)

I've always maintained that Patience is the most important trait for a pilot.  We're always waiting on something, parts, mechanics, weather, passengers, fuel, clearances...etc.   ::)
