It's not an old plane, it's a classic!

I just looked over that last post I wrote. I called it "Plus size." Plus size Gil?! What are you a woman now?!

I believe the current term is "voluptuous"     Huh

Voluptuous? That's still a girl word. That's how you describe women named Bertha. Above plus size. Uh oh Bar are you having a crisis as well?  Eek! Eek! Eek! Eek!

P.S. This is my 600th post!! Drinking Drinking

I believe the term for large sized mens clothing is "Big and Tall".   Cowboy

First of all a picture of me in front of our DG 100 before my first flight in it.

A sunset in Flensburg (ICAO-Code EDXF), 15nm from where I live (and usually fly). Unfortunately, it was raining two days out of four, but the other two days were very well suited for flying, and I had a plane all for myself. Very neat . . .

One of the three Zlins ( I think Z-526) which came flew in in formation from Switzerland

I hope you like the pics.
I'll be back in two weeks with some pictures from the 13th IMGC where I'll be as ground crew.
I hope for better weather than last week and a lot of sailplanes to photograph.

Nah, just meant that "plus size" isn't the current correct female term.  Wink

Now you are supposed to call them "voluptuous."

I always thought voluptuous meant something else entirely....

Yeah I always thought that Voluptuous meant something else as well. It always seems that women are changing the word fat. It used to be queen size, then plus size, then voluptuous, then more to love. Who knows what it will be in the future. I just call em like they used to call some of the WW2 bombers. Heavies. Yes I'm a bachelor for life.

We could always use the line a good buddy uses...  he's a pretty BIG guy...  when discussing body types and sizes, he always grins and says:

"Well....  I'm built for comfort...  not for speed."

We did a proficiency jump and took along a senior fire manager, so he could observe the smokejumper mission from "inside the frying pan".  It was a good time!  Here's the load...  with the trusty White Minivan.

Could quite likely be Z526A... did they have retractable main gear?
