Here are some more shots from my Spring Break trip home, these are from an Airplane Musume outside Tillimook, Oregon. Also fyi those two 'mystery' planes are from here...
the Astoria bridge as seen from the Oregon side.
the new Tacoma Narrows bridge, being built next to where Galloping Girdy ust to be if any of you remember that...
thats all for now, i figure ive sucked up enough of your bandwith, ive got a bunch more from the flights to/from SEA including a couple of F16's taking off from PDX when i was there.

Yea, your actually looking at it from the South side. Girdie, whats left of her, is on the North side of the old bridge. Its going to be a total now of 8 lanes across there, pretty crazy when its done.

Well, the duck made it OSH today finally!
No call for clouds anywhere along the route, which turned out to be patchy OVC about a third of the way, including at OSH.
Sigh. Called center and got an IFR clearance in, only to be able to see the entire field all the way down while getting vectored.
Spent a hectic day at Sonex, flew home, parked in front of the FBO, hopped out, inhaled a really bad "pizza sandwich" from the vending machine, and then taught weather for three hours...
I think I was coherent for much of it but am not sure. Duck is tired and going to crawl into the nest here soon. Needless to say, the day at Sonex was awesome, as usual. If I told you what I saw in the R&D hangar, I'd have to kill you. Hint: It's yellow and has wings.
