So once upon a time, i was a chef at a restraunt outside of Seattle, and we had the best steak recipe ever, just thought I'd share it.

One Flank Steak, lean

pinapple juice about 1cup
1cup soy
chop some basil and 1 red chili.

blend them up in a cuisinart.
soak for at least 3 hours

reduce 3/4 cup red wine and 1 cup balsamic viniger until it is almost syrupy. then chill in fridge.

Cook your steak to how you like it, and use the reduction as your glaze/sauce

Add some of my special garlic mashys and mmmmmm goodness

Garlic Mashys:
2/3 russests
1/3 yams

butter
salt
honey
diced fresh garlic

peal and boil your potatos/yams

mash them up, and add your butter first, then your salt and honey (just a little not to much honey) and a big handful of diced garlic.
