Quote
LONDON — A Boeing Co. jet arrived in London from Hong Kong today, breaking the record for the longest nonstop flight by a commercial jet.

The 777-200LR Worldliner -- one of Boeing's newest planes -- touched down shortly after 1 p.m. (7 a.m. CST) at London's Heathrow Airport after a journey of more than 13,422 miles. The previous record was set when a Boeing 747-400 flew 10,500 miles from London to Sydney in 1989.

That reminds me of a quote by some early U-2 drivers after the first 18 hour missions...

"My mind went numb 10 minutes before my ass did..."  ::)

A pilot is a confused soul who talks about women when he's around airplanes, and airplanes when he's around women.

There are crew rest areas in the aircraft.
In the 777, they are in the overhead.

The off shift crews are a bit rebellious these last few years.
When you are resting and need to use the facilities,
It just is not proper to wander down past the security door into the passenger cabin looking like a passenger.
So, first you have to dress, (suit and tie) looking impeccable before you saunter down.

Ungrateful flight crews.  They want their own facilities.
