Tundra toy is definitly female.  I even refer to her as my mistress.  After all she takes all my money and free time, and gets very upset if I spend time with other toys.  For example, I bought a snowmachine (snowmobile to you lower 48'ers) last year, and ended up selling it right away to pay for a $7,000 annual!   8)

Yeah, she had terminal cancer (corrosion) in the right wing.  Needed to have the entire wing rebuilt and the spar splice reinforcements replaced. A previous owner had already done major surgery on the left wing.  Might have just dumped her for a younger model, but I'd already had her engine overhauled a couple years previous.  She's definitly been a high maintenance bird, but what can I say...must be love.   ::)

P.S.  Don't tell her I've got a set of Bearhawk Patrol plans at home, she'd likely suck a valve if she knew!  ;)

still thinking boat...
..always wanted one and I need to get away from aviation every now and then...need some balance.
Plus I think I can maintain a boat for $7,000 a year or below...

Just got back from Salmon fishing in Seward, a friend of mine has a 40ft all wood converted commercial fishing boat there.  There's a brass placard in the wheelhouse that reads "A boat is just a hole in the water lined with wood that you throw money into."

I told him a plane is just a hole in the sky that sucks up money!  LOL  Seriously though, I think how many 2 seat boats with a 500lb weight limit I could buy for what I've spent on my C150.  Makes me want to cry.   :P

And back to the original topic, boats are all definitly female.

Well in french, it's he/it (no big difference in french language), so it's still difficult for me to use "she" in english as it must be isn't ?

But even if we say "he", we take care of it like a pretty woman !

MAINTAINENCE IS EVERYTHING with women as well as aircraft! |:)\
Doesn't matter if it's diamonds, anti-wrinkle face cream, radios, or motor oil-------buy the best you can afford and you will be rewarded with smooth performance, am I not right?   8)

They have a lot of the same traits and also need lot of attention and TLC or they won't do what you want . . .

So, how about a blonde sitting on the wing of a, shall we say, SR-71 holding an AR-15? (with a Twin Star in the background since Bustnthru thinks they are curvy....)

OH NO, guns are male---it's been said that guys with big guns suffer from a lack of confidence in thier masculinity.  I have a Colt Anaconda 44 magnum myself, hopefully not for the aforementioned reason :-\    :o
On second thought, my wife gave it to me, hmmmmmmmm................
