depressed ignorant
« on: June 07, 2006, 06:16:11 PM »
Reading the posts in some topics I really feel a very little, stupid Sunday-pilot with my PPL-licence and my very limited knowledge in aviation. The strange things with the fan on top you call them helicopter, right?  ;)
On the other hand, I don't have to fly, but I can go when I and the weather are in the right "mood"!!! ;)

So , many happy landings to everybody (not Happylandings, she is unique!!)

Aww come on SteepTurn... why are you depressed? Hopefully not because you don't know what that thing with the fan on top is called - who cares about those anyway :D (ducking and running away...)

Errm, anyway, what's that thing with Happylandings? Are there some personal relationships I've missed lately? :)

I would not feel so depressed you know?
I do not think it’s the amount of knowledge that counts here, it’s a passion we all share, either with a lot of skill or less. And the good side is that – not knowing everything – we can always learn (well, I look like Pollyanna now…) from the other’s experiences, thoughts, memories, writings, and dreams.

See, didn’t you know – i.e. – that a new aerodynamic law passed last year?!?!?!? You didn’t’ uh?!? Now you can tell everybody! ;)
I give that landing a 9 . . . on the Richter scale.

Well, I think that you can, but in another sense..........I'm not sure that everybody would be able (and would like...) to handle 2 happylanding in this forum: you would not have enough time to read 22 messages per day (I got shocked when I read my average per day from Fireflyr's message!!!)....... :D :D :D :D :D

Hey ST!

I'm fully instrument rated in Microsoft Flight Simulator. So don't feel bad that anytime you are in the "mood" you can head into the wild blue yonder. I love planes and those weird "fan on top" things, and one of these days I'll have the time and $$$ to get a certification to fly something.

This place doesn't depress me. I enjoy my time here. "These people" are just the kind of aviation freaks (everything I said I meant in the nicest possible way  ;D ;D ;D ) I need. Each time I read these boards just makes me want to fly more!

So cheer up... it could be worse, you could be flying a cargo plane filled with rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong... wait that's from another post  :D

NO-NO-NO!  The thing with the fan on top is called a "beanie" ("propellerhut" fur unsere deutshen Sprecher)---I had one when I was a kid (maaaaany moons ago)  When you ran fast the "rotor" would spin.   ;D
