A Crane in the Olympics
« on: February 12, 2010, 08:23:36 PM »
Ha, ha, maybe the next winter Olympics can be in Florida or somewhere as cold as Vancouver...     ::rofl::

Erickson is moving snow in one of their 'cranes -- I think they said 680 tons a day, average...

They had to create the special "snow shovel" to do the job...  they also said moving snow was a first for them.    ::silly::
Don't make me come back there!!!!

This is a great idea!  Think how effective snow drops would be on a fire!  ::thinking:: ...

could be an advantage if you had to drop on a steep hill, so the stuff doesn't run down the hill right away  ;)

let's put an STC together!

Exactly, like foam injection, but better... For hot climates, we can build a bucket with a built in ice cream maker, and it can churn it in flight  ::wave:: ::drinking::...

Mike, I don't think the strategy is to drop the daquiris on the fire. It's more something like: drink the daquiris, your body filter the fire accelerant, then, you pee on the fire to stop it. Where do I post my resumé for this job?
