I remember people in here talking about finding real estate right next to airports and airstrips.... So I thought I'd just post this link here of the people of "Aviation Acres" who wrote us:

Just a few miles west of Platsburgh, it's a cold war era Atlas missile silo that has had it's control center turned into a home, with another house built on top at ground level.

The silo's former access road has been turned into a runway and there are several other homes with planes there as well.

How does he get out of there? not sure that reverse thrust is a good idea...

Pushback tug... you can see one in the picture just in front of the Gulfstream

John sure has come a long way since the Ercoupe he bought back when he was on Welcome Back Kotter.

He's also got an Eclipse and an old Morraine Paris Jet.
