ok i dont know where to put this but here it goes, i want to apologise to mike and leiafee, about a comment i put up in a thread i started about the Boeing 777 power loss. If you dont mind i want to explain my reason for saying what i did, i may not have your flying experience im only a student learning the mechanical side of aircraft engineering but from the news coverage i saw and heard everyone was ready to blame wind shear but for some reason i felt that was wrong and instead went for mechanical or electrical failure, its happened not so often on a Qantas 747 when all 4 generators failed but the flight crew regained power this was due to a water tray leaking from the forward galley onto the main bus bar, but everyone is getting ahead of themselves (including me) and second guessing what actually happened. so once again i apologise to mike, leiafee and any one else who took offence to what i had said.
