OH MAN, I'm P****D off now----what a pack of lies!   These so called scientists don't know what they are talking about!!!
No wonder that there is so much confusion in the world----I need to clear this up before you people begin thinking that the wild ramblings of some over-educated psychotic could possibly be factual.   These scientific "experts" find a discarded soupbone from somebody's garbage buried in a layer of dinosaur poop and come up with a plausible explanation for everything from evolution to revolution.   HA!
Let me tell you, when I was a kid on the farm back in Nebraska, we had chickens--our chickens didn't teeth--they had peckers.   We'd toss corn on the ground and they would peck it (with their peckers, of course-that's how they ate)
Now on the other hand, when we hunted T-Rex (never could domesticate them), we'd use chickens for bait because T-Rex had teeth and ate chickens (who only had peckers cause they ate CORN)   Don't you see, if chickens were descended from T-Rex, they'd have teeth or if T-Rex was my hens grandpappy---he'd have a pecker!!!
Even if you can't accept the pure logic of my explanation, that's OK--just take my word for it---I was there! ::)

HA!  I think you're bluffing AirTac!  I've seen my fair share of chickens growing up in farm country.  And I'll tell you when they see a grasshopper the corn is the last thing on their puny little minds.  Clearly they're remembering their great carnivor roots.   ::sulk::

As for hunting T-rex, it's no wonder you only got those little lizzards using chickens for bait.  If you want a real trouphy you gotta use BIG bait.  A water buffalo at least, preferably an elephant  ::rambo::

Phil,
Couldn't use the water buffalo cause Mom used it to get to work and elephants are protected in Nebraska under the the endangered species act ::complaining:

hmmm.... Airtacs theory might have some truth to it.
What if Mama T-Rex just had some chicken stuck in her teeth?
(I remember Dinosaurs don't brush and you know how meet gets stuck in your teeth sometimes especially when boiled)
Could that have shown up on the DNA scan??  ;)

Could be, they probably didn't have dinosaur floss back then ;)

That is what Kegs are for Mike!

I disagree with the caption on the photo though.  It says that the resemblence between Trex and the chicken isn't immediately noticeable.  To me the chicken is scarier!
