Title: How AirWolf was created, with notes, drawings and pictures
Post by: Frank N. O. on December 26, 2006, 11:05:44 AM
I found this by chance via Wikipedia, an interesting read and look. http://www.probertdesigns.com/Folder_DESIGN/A-WOLF_Designs1.html
Wikipedia also has info on Blue Thunder in case anyone's interested, and it also said the loop was a model although it read like that was only because the mods made the real Gazelle too heavy. Does anyone know if a stock Gazelle can loop btw?

Probetdesigns? As in Bob Probert, the noted Red Wings/Blackhawks enforcer? I thought the only thing he was good for was importing cocaine and punching up others. (Huge hockey fight fan(.

I found the final scene on YouTube and I see that nothing that was even remotely spectacular was made with real helicopters :(
