Hey Everybody!
I just got the coolest reader-letter from one of our fans! I just HAD to share with you! He built a RC plane and needed a "pilot" to fly it. Since it's electric he figured "Sparks" would be the perfect guy for it. Check it out! Cool, huh?!?!

Don't be silly :D Sparks doesn't need a license, it's obviously an ultralite aircraft. ;)

Veryyyyy cool!!!!!!
Some of those RC guys build the most amazing things! I'll have to rummage around on my PC to find it, but I've got some photos of planes you would swear are the full-up real things... then the next shot shows it to be an RC! One guy I have shots of somewhere built a huge C-17 replica, and it's all turbine driven to boot! Absolutely incredible stuff!

Oh, sweet! Hey guys, we're preggers now (or, at least Mrs Velo is) and we're working on a design for the baby's room. I think we're going to do a green lower half, with blue sky and clouds on the upper half. On the bottom we're going to do some cartoon characters like Snoopy and Winnie the Pooh, but I think in the sky I want to have Chuck flying something. Is that ok with you guys? I promise to take a pic and post it if/when the wifey lets me do it. (I think she will, she's helping build the 801)

Preggers HUH! I guess the 801 ain't all she helped build :D (or was it you in the supporting role) Seriously, the blue sky ceiling with clouds is great---saw a room done that way and it was fantastic---they rounded the square ceiling/wall corners and continued about a 3rd of the way down the wall with the blue.

I think it'll be cool. She doesn't want to know the gender right away so I figured this work work well either way (I never much cared for the blue/pink thing anyway). It's a good thing we picked a 4 seat flying SUV, eh?

Hey Mike!! That sounds like another store item idea in the making!! CW Stickers and/or sticker books, temporary tatoos, and wallpaper or wallpaper trim rolls! :) A screen saver could be cool too!!

Ohh! I just saw once a picture alike. it was the one of the child of a friend of mine, the first toddler I've ever taken in my arms, at first when she was born from 23 hrs, last year :) . At what week is lil Chuck (or lil Sally) now? When is s/he expected?

Actually, we've taken to calling him/her/it 'Mater', like as in tomater, but without the toe. (from Cars). Due date is approx. March 26, and Mater has a seat reserved on our plane. ;D

Not sure if I could afford that, but I appreciate the offer. I think I'm going to enlarge a drawing, and use it to carbon-transfer to the wall, then do the outline and color it in from there. I don't copy well freehand. Some of the other cartoon Mrs Velo wants to do have vinyl stickers available, which is great, but I'm still willing to put in a little effort to get Chuck and the guys up there.

Which brings up a new subject---how about Chuck stickers similar to the one on Capt Chuck's helicopter being made and offered for sale, my airplane and pickup truck would both sport one ;D ???

Hmmm...Chicken wings stickers...I've always thought that big white expanse on the taill of tundra toy needed something. How about one of chuck in a parka? 8)

There are a few people already sporting the "Capt. Chuck" sticker on their cars and planes. We have them! I have no idea why I never thought of selling them :-[ Proofs we're doing this because we love it and not just for the money, huh?!?! ;D
We are working on updating the pilot shop as our next project as soon as the first order rush subsides. I'll make sure I'll get them in there !!

Actually, I had something like that in mind. It'll take a little while (I'm away from home a lot) but when we get crackin' on it, I'll take lots of pics.
