Well, there's a new (Dutch) hybrid air/land vehicle around. check out this movie: http://youtu.be/SgHSaNtAMjs It's a combo between an autogyro and a carver, and apparently, the maiden flight was yesterday-ish.

Sure, the thing looks cool, but this will become the newest Doctor/Lawyer Killer to add to the annals of aviation.
