Post by: happylanding on June 03, 2006, 04:12:29 PM
Something interesting here. a 360X360 image taken from the sky, same format balloon festival and (same format) what I think could be what Mike has to see when in his fire rescue exits....

Very impressive, especially the one at the airport! Interesting technology too, thank you very much for the link :)
I have a similar file of the cockpit of a B-2, 777 and F-18 in a quicktime movie format somewhere I found ages ago, seems to be from a magazine judging from the magazine lying in view in all three cockpits.

Yeah, I find them impressive, actually. BTW, on the same site I also found 360° images taken inside cars and inside car simulators. I'm quite sure you could be interested. http://www.fullscreenqtvr.com/ and http://www.panogames.com .............always in the same site I had found a connection to Smythsonian Museum and images taken there (as usual 360°) but I can't find it anymore :( I remember having seen the inside of the Concorde cockpit........ you have to navigate to find them, but it's really worth a try. :)
