Title: We need a new magneto

Just curious, what's the price of normal cessna magnetos? We almost had to replace one on our aircraft (Gipsy Major-powered), which uses some old Brtish Thomson AG-4-6 magnetos (not in production anymore). Those things were unfindable as well as extremely costly. Eventually we could do with just a revision, but still, it was hugely expensive... On the plus side though: I now have a lot of experience in mounting/dismounting magnetos, as well as a very good image of the insides of those things...
