Hey Wow! Congrats guys on being published in EAA!!! Man that's awesome news! |:)\
Chuck stays true to character in this strip. ::rofl:: Afterall, you wouldn't go hurtling through thin air in a small aluminum mailing tube unless you thought you were the greatest! Hehe. I'm going to have to tell my dad to look for your strip. He's been an EAA member for around 30 years now.

maybe at some point they will come to us, down the road..... ;D
(they did publish one strip so far to go along with one of their articles in one of their magazines....it's a first step)

funny story about the EAA:
Aparently they noticed that we are in a lot of chapter newsletter. Then they said they've been watching us for a while already to make sure we're consistent before they contacted us. Not bad, huh?!

I found the one with the article in the AOPA Flight Training magazine, pg 43, from November last year :) (I'm working my way through a whole stack of them that my CFI gave me ;D )

Well, they quote the comic that says "As a kid I never wanted to grow up. I was scared of needing to act like an adult and having to work for a living. Then I decided to become a pilot!" (and they linked to you too!) Then they debated whether that's true anymore, with all the long hours and stuff that airline pilots put up with, and hearing all the complaints. But then, comparing it with the business world in general and with other professions, they conclude that it really is worth it, and it does beat working for a living!
Frankly, it reminds me of the video games industry. There have been so many complaints, stories of horrendous work hours, people sleeping under desks, unpaid overtime, etc. etc. I've heard lots of naysayers, lots of people burnt out of the industry. But I personally haven't experienced any of that, and even if I have, it's better than when I was in school, and PAYING to do that kind of work! Whenever people would complain, I would remind them "remember, you're working on VIDEO GAMES... like, every kid's dream. It sure does beat working for a living. (no I'm never gonna grow up! ;D ) Well, they say if you find something you love doing, you'll never have to work a day in your life.
