Title: A Multi Engine Pilatus
Post by: Rooster Cruiser on August 16, 2009, 08:49:46 PM
I found this on another website today. Here is Pilatus' newest addition to the GA marketplace. Introducing the PC-36!!!
I hear it has triple the performance of the PC-12. :P One expert was quoted saying, "It will probably take over the market as soon as it gets certification, which is expected in the next week."

Haha nice. They are neat planes for sure but sure are annoying. They fly at FL300 and cruise about 250kts. We tend to call them speed bumps. Same thing with the p180s. Cruise at FL350+ and at turbojet speeds, but when they start their descent, they slow up and become a speed bump. A controller in my area had a deal because of that, massive compression when they come out of the flight levels.

Maybe, but with six engines I'll bet I could takeoff and land on a Postage Stamp! Hehe. >:D |:)\
I'm just not certain about the useful load or whether the endurance would be worth it. ???
Mike/Stef... Think this airplane might be in Chuck's future?
