Quite the contrary, 1.7mill for airworthy two seater Spit fresh off renovation seems as quite a good price to me.

Hmm, I guess that is a lot of cash, but then again, if it came outfitted like this baby, it'd be worth it.

AH the famous Beer spit flying Beer casks over to the 2nd Tac Air Force in Belguim  ::bow::  £1.7 million is about right for a restored Spit these days. if its the one im thinking about its a T9 done up in dutch airforce markings, done a a few test flights last month half finished.
