Title: Disasterous Boeing 707 crash

It was a Controlled Imapact demonstration by Dryden Flight Research Center in 1984. I don't know how could they tested it!

are you sure that was a B707? looked like a Airbus to me, and one that got hijacked a few years ago that the pilot "ditched"

That's none of the above.
That's a 767. The pilot was fighting a hijacker for the controls when it happened and out of fuel. The reason it broke apart was it was in such a steep bank and dragged the wing to that extent. Completely a result of the hijacker fighting the controls. It says a lot that people survived even through that.

if thats the ethiopian air one a lot of passengers drowned since they inflated their life jackets while still in side the aircraft.
