Title: Need your input!
Post by: Mike on October 29, 2008, 05:12:46 PM
Hi guys!
We got a reader letter asking what the most common words or terms in aviation would be. Can you come up with ideas?
Here's the letter:
Thanks for the response Mike. Here is my dilemma, I wanted to produce an annual magazine in my town and need to come up with a name. So I was thinking what is the most common used lingo in aviation that everyone can recognize. It can be a call sign , 100 burger, something that the civil aviation community can relate to. Any feedback would be helpful.
Thanks, Robert

How about "The Traffic Pattern"? Don't use "Left Traffic" or "Right Traffic" as many will think there is a political bent to that.
My personal favorite would be "Fair Skies". That's something we all wish for on our flying days. |:)\
