Title: AIRKNOCKER AND ME---I'm in love again!

Stopped by the Healdsburg airport this morning and a guy had his Aeronca Champion sitting out so I stopped to admire it and he asked if I'd like to take it around the patch----HOO BOY, I was in the seat almost before his last word died away. Hadn't flown a stock Champ in about 40 years but it was like running into an old sweetheart at a reunion---I fell in love all over again.
As I tenderly carressed her controls, she carried me away on gossamer wings, slowly bringing me to new heights of pleasure until, at the final moment, we touched softly back to Earth, our tryst completed. Had to have a cigarette when I was done and I'm still bathing in the afterglow---think I'll have a nap ::sleep::
