Title: The Switch
Post by: Darrell Mims on March 18, 2008, 11:30:25 AM
8) I was riding jump seat in the company plane and we had a rental pilot with us . He was flying a GIII which had a unmarked overhead rocker sw that did nothing . So they decided to label it Guns on top and Missles on the bottom. When ever someone rode the jump seat from the company Executive pool and the TCAS would sound off. they would say too close for missles ,switching to Guns -grab the yoke and pretend to be firing guns at the passer By. The passenger would Freek Out !

Some wit mounted one of these (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=10290787) in one of the school tommyhawks at some point while I was learning.
I think the fact I learning at the time was coincidental...

Nice one, Darrell.
I think that's just the kind of switch "Panaca Jane" needs . . . . ;)

::rofl:: ::rofl:: Chuck probably looked like me (or me like him?) when on Saturday I finally went flying after more than 6 months! It was quite embarrassing to sit on a DA40 and feel as if it were the first time I was flying! Anyhow, that machine already conquered my heart! :-)
