Title: Little do they know...
Post by: Turbomallard on February 10, 2008, 07:26:30 AM
Stopped in for breakfast at our EAA chapter hangar this morning... the weekly little one sheet news thing stated that there is going to be a comic strip in our chapter newsletter from now on... Chicken Wings! There was a brief description of the strip, and I gather they licensed it. Little does the chapter know about the duck... ;D

Haha! Well, that's funny! And now we know which EAA chapter you are in! ;D
But, wait! If they don't know about your secret alter ego "the duck", it means you haven't done your share of word-of-mouth propaganda that is the duty of all Chicken Wings fans!! >:( ::) ;D

Actually, I have! I'm guessing that's how this came about. I'm going to ask the newsletter editor and find out.
Oh... and I was doing an IM chat with a pilot last night and she called my avtar a "dive-bombing chicken!" ::eek:: ::eek::
That hurt....

TM
::rofl:: very funny, however, I'm not sure what's worst, that a pilot can't tell a duck from a chicken or that a pilot can't tell a dive from a climb? ::thinking:: :D

Ok, I'm a little under the weather so just to be sure, should I delete the joke comment or was that a joke too?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, oh man, I laughed out loud at that. My mom did say she was sure a ton of girls in USA would like me after she was over there in 89 but I didn't believe her then, and I don't believe it now until I see it. But then again, I don't need a million, just one! I'm into monotiny and being faithful (as long as that faith is returned).

Nope, that's not her name... don't think she flies a Pitts, either. We talked during a break at the Sonex workshop last Saturday... she's going to start flying an Arrow soon for her COM, and since I own one and have 700 hours on it, I offered to help with tech stuff and what not about the airplane. Not sure if she'll show up here or not. Probably shouldn't... you guys know WAAAAAY too much about me and would ruin my credibility with her as an isntructor... ::whistle:: ::whistle:: ::whistle::

That Airtac can be pretty OUT there, if you catch my DRIFT, but... he's right on, on this one!! |:)\

I stand my ground! If your sensitive there are a million girls who'd want to have a relationship with you.. Not gonna help getting them to date you though...
Hmmm, I sense a bit of sour feelings in this writing of mine.. Gonna get some beer ::drinking:: ::drinking:: ::drinking:: and stop being serious ::rofl::

Hey, it was 7 35 AM that itme, in Greece, you should have been sleeping! :)
Yet I have to admit, there is nothing more complicated than women ::knockedout::
(I consider planes, and sorry mom, piper, happy, I consider "usual" women ;) )

Fabo, you actually hit on a truism there----Both women and airplanes ARE complicated---both ARE beautiful---both DO require maintenance---both often cruise better without input from inept pilots--- both CAN bring varying degrees of satisfaction dependent entirely upon the pilots control sensitivety---and many models of both ARE perfectly capable of unmanned operation! ;D ::) :-\

Very well said (again) Airtac!!
You have to take care of them and they will take care of you. I did something REALLY STUPID the other day with Panaca Jane (kind of a "let me show you how this is done" situation) and Jane totally forgave me and got me out of my mess unscaled and unscratched. I will take even better care of her now !!!

On the downside, you can't get training on how to handle women! Pretty lame aftersales services.. Not even a manual! On the upside, you don't need a license ;D ;D ;D
Hehe, don't get me wrong, I love women! It's just a case of prolonged brake-upitis I have the last months :P
And Fabo, it was 8:30 and I had just gotten home :P

One thing I do know that women and airplanes have in common;
When they go quiet on you, you are in a WHOLE lot of trouble!

If I ever dated a pilot and she went into silent mode I could ask her to squawk 7600... just before I got hit with the FAR/AIM flung across the room... ::silly::

DK, I think it might be isopropyl alcohol in my dental gel... ::silly::
Well I just thought biking could get me to other thoughts - it did indeed, it was just as dirty as one can imagine and my bike almost fell apart, but hey I am here and I am quite fine, so ::drinking::lets just have some beer.
