Funny fact it, three days after the strip was published, the almost exact same thing happened to me in Seattle. Got on an Alaska Airlines plane which sat at the gate for an hour, then they turned the APU off and it got hot inside. Didn't let us out for almost 90min. Then they decided to let us off the plane and we went back on 2 hours later. I tlaked to the captain and he told me that they decided to replace the starter. Made me feel good to see that they didn't mess around and replaced the whole thing but I still wondered why they didn't let us off the plane sooner. I was laughing at myself and the strip I drew not too long ago.....
