What do you really want?

Well, it’s not that easy of a question to answer, is it? Oftentimes we just think we want something, and then, as soon as we get it, it turns out we don’t really want it after all. So, sometimes it’s good to take a little time to think about what you really, really want in life. It could well turn out that what you really, really, really want is zigazig ah.

I bet what you didn’t really want is that song in your head for the rest of the day! Haha! Gotcha!

I do not want to be looking for a job at 50, so when my job moves sometime in the next year to year and a half, I shall move with it.
Upsides? I get to move closer to where I grew up in Michigan. Get to play in the snow more often. Hunting just got a lot easier (more deer than people in that part of the country). Travel to Canada without needing a passport (enhanced license available in Michigan) May finally be rid of some annoying co-workers (so far I am the only one planning to move). And I’ll likely finally buy a house instead of renting (I do hope to retire from this position).
Downsides? I’ve got to move away from Texas. I’ll get to play in the snow more. Working in Wisconsin. Who knows how bad my new co-workers will be. A LOT less motorcycle riding time, and far lower speed limits. Less BBQ places to ride to.

But hey, I recently got a small raise.

I would complain about having that song stuck in my head now… then again, I’m certain I have the CD somewhere over here.

… hey, I was a teenage girl at the time, don’t judge! 😀
