Chuck and Richard

So, what would you do if you wanted to become a pilot for Virgin Galactic? You travel to the Mojave Spaceport and hope to run in to Sir Richard Branson himself, of course! Once again, Chucks “Can-Do” attitude and ambition coupled with his persistence and tenacity has led him to another celebrity encounter.

But will he get the job?

It was important for us to have Chuck meet Sir Richard Branson at some point because he is a big role model for us. In his autobiography he writes the following about his decision to start an airline:

“My interest in life comes from setting myself huge, apparently unachievable challenges and trying to rise above them … from the perspective of wanting to live life to the full, I felt that I had to attempt it.”

Doesn’t this statement have “Chuck” written all over it? The difference of course is that Sir Richard Branson is way more successful in mastering these challenges than Chuck! 😉
