Sorry for the delay with today’s strip guys! It seems the data center of our provider is locaded in Boston and experienced some difficulties because of the hurricane. Maybe a dolphin bit through some cables or something!
We keep our fingers crossed for everybody in the area! By what I’ve read in the papers so far Sandy has caused quite some devastation. Hope none of you are affected personally!

The weather sure became gloomy here today. I’m going to fire up the oven today for the first time this season and enjoy a comfortable evening in front of the fire. Damn, I feel lucky to be a a homo sapiens sapiens sometimes, with all the technology to my disposal! It would suck to have to be outside on days like these.
I can’t clearly remember when I first heard about Halloween, but it certainly wasn’t popular around these parts when I grew up. Nowadays it’s getting more and more common to have kids ring at your door and extort candy from you under threats of violence. I wonder, is Halloween a marketing scheme for sweets, or a recruiting event by organized crime to spot future talent for protection money operations? Anyway, this year I’ll have to get myself a mask to scare those little buggers! Or maybe I should go with Hans’ costume suggestion instead?
This strip concludes our little zombie series. I guess Julio will need until next Tuesday to get all the makeup off, so see you all in November! In the meantime, we wish a Happy Halloween to everybody!
Poor Julio is not getting a break. It seems the Roost-Air crew is never on the same page when it comes to Halloween. Actually, now that I think about it, the Roost-Air crew is NEVER on the same page. It just shows more on Halloween I guess…
This week will be our Halloween Week here at Chicken Wings. We found ourselves talking about what seems to be Americas Biggest Holiday Event (even though it’s not an official holiday) and next thing we know, we had enough strips to do a whole week and send some more to our magazines as well.
Last year we couldn’t think of a single strip about Halloween. It’s always funny to me how you can’t force the creative juices.
So, Happy Halloween everybody!
It seems Julio doesn’t only have a knack for fixing airplanes, but also knows how to treat women and make them feel special!
Also, the Halloween Contest is still on until the end of the week!
Think up another punchline for the skeleton strip and post it in our forum!
For todays strip we came up with about ten different punchlines and had a hard time deciding upon one… So we said to ourselves “Hey Mike, hey Stefan, we said to ourselves, respectively, that would be a perfect strip for one of our contests, now wouldn’t it? Yes it would!”.
So, here you go: This is our BIG HALLOWEEN CONTEST! Think up another punchline for this strip and post it in our forum! As usual, we will arbitrarily pick a winner by deciding which submission we think is the funniest. The price this time is ONE ITEM OF CHOICE from our online shops!
