LINK CONTEST!
We’re having a new contest!!
Got a blog or website? All you need to do to enter the contest is to write a short blog or entry about us and link to us.
Here are THE RULES:
- Write a post about us. It can be general, it can be about a strip you particularly like, our shops, our forum, whatever you feel like. Link to the appropriate URL (e.g. www.chickenwingscomics.com). Let the world know!
- Send us an Email to info@roost-air.com or, preferrably, post a comment underneath this post here with a link to your website. That way, you will also get traffic back from us!
- From now on, you’ll have about two weeks to enter! The contest ends on June 7th, 2011.
- We’ll take a couple of days to pick TWO WINNERS, who will be determined by the roll of the dice. The lucky winners will be able to choose between the following AWESOME PRIZES:
Winners can choose between our three volume Chicken Wings Combo or a silver coin (we want to make this attractive to people who already have all our books). If you’re in the US, you will get a 1 oz. Silver Eagle, if you’re in Europe, you will get a 1 oz. Silver Vienna Philharmonic, if you’re elsewhere in the world, we will decide aribtrarily.
DISCLAIMER:
- We reserve the right to reject links from spam blogs, or blogs with inappropriate content.
- Feel free to link to us more than once, but we’ll only count one entry per person.
- Imagine general legal fine print here. We’ll try our best to be absolutely fair. We accept no responsibility, etc. etc.
A note for the curious: Why Silver?
Well, because both of us are small time silver bugs. We’re poor cartoonists and silver is the poor man’s gold. Silver coins are a good investment and they also make great gifts, so we thought we might as well use them as a prize for our next competition. And here you go!
We’re looking forward to the coming link storm and wish you all good luck!
A big Hello from the Calgary Recreational and Ultralight Flying Club from Canada!
Thanks Michael and Stefan for sharing your great aviation comics and cartoons. We have added a post about this awesome website, as well as created a rss link on our right sidebar so that our readers are always aware of what is new with Chicken Wings!

Hello Michael and Stefan,
I actually thought about putting a link on my blog to you guys earlier and this was the perfect opportunitiy to actually finally do it. So here you go. : )
Thanks for the comics by the way, they land on my e-mail when I never expect them so I always enjoy when I get one. And I like to read the comment underneath as well.

Hello Guys,
I wrote a post about your site a while ago (10July2010) on my blog: http://www.bornwithoutwings.com
Does this count for the entry?
If it doesn’t, that’s alright, I want to write another post with a specific comic in mind, but I wanted to get more articles on my site first. I haven’t really made myself stick to anything resembling a posting schedule. That’s going to change soon.
Also wanted to say: I <3 Chicken Wings Comics!
Blue skies and happy flying

Hi Guys,
A fellow member over at the netAirspace.com forums shared the link to your site a few months ago, and I’ve got it in my “Daily” bookmarks ever since.
Just a few days ago, while reworking my private photo website (main focus on aviation photography), I added you to the Links section of my site.
For the contest, I now added a blog post as well. You can find it at http://www.gebenus.com/ under “Latest”.
Thanks a lot for all the chuckles (sorry for the pun!), and keep up the great work!
Beste Grüße aus Hamburg

Hi Guys,
I’ve been meaning to post about you over at my flying blog so this gave me the perfect reason to do so. I’ve also dropped a reference in over on our podcast’s Facebook page.
Like I’ve said in both locations, some of my favourite t-shirts are from your shop 🙂 🙂
Love your work! 🙂
Cheers,
Grant
PS Yes, there’s a reason for Falcon124 & it has to do with my landings 🙂
