Okay, this little joke here is in our third book, and quite a few people told us that they don’t get it. Hm. Well, I won’t attempt to explain it, because nothing’s worse than an explained joke.

Having just visited a Lion Park in South Africa last month, this REALLY made me laugh!!!
I trust you’ve see Gary Larson’s version, but it’s funny enough to bear repeating, and if people aren’t getting it then they don’t know the Laraon version, clearly.
Yeah, it was unintentional, really! Somebody pointed this out to us before and then I found it in one of our Gary Larson books… So we must have seen it before but forgotten about it and then regurgitated it. I guess with the tens of thousands of cartoons and comics we’ve read and thousands we’ve drawn things like that can happen!
