Maybe Chuck should try to pursue a career at the FAA. After all, he’s also here to help! I remember, when I was a kid, that “helping” my dad was the greatest thing, whenever he was building or repairing something around the house. Looking back, I think it usually consisted of the type of help that Chuck is now enlisted for, but at the time it felt really great to be of assistance.

“Making Tea” was a vital component of helping in the garage when I was a nipper.
I was a gofer when I was a little kid. Go fer this, and go fer that…
heh heh . . . .
“motor skills”!
still laughing!
Our dad has a super 8 film where I was really eager to help at the age of 3. He was painting but a little afraid to give me real paint so he gave me a bucket of water and a brush and had me “paint” the dark wood fence with it. The water looked just like real paint on the wood and I was stoked!
….now he complains that I haven’t volunteered to paint the fence in a while.
These are my best memories, when I could help my grandpa. He taught me how to work in the garden and that work is value and that with work come results. Now I am missing those moments and I am only 22.
Other than that our national airline MALEV, has just gone bankrupt this morning. Imagine waking up and having your airline grounded. Chuck wasn’t even here to make anything wrong, but still the worst has happened. Everyone I know is truly sorry about it and hopes that the fleet may be airborne again.
