Nice approach!
This strip is another classic from a long time ago. In fact, it’s been so long, I don’t really remember what sparked the idea back then. I believe we were just looking for good lines for Chuck to say at the bar, the cheesier, the better and the rest just fell in place.
Notice this was before we had our “mysterious lady” which keeps topping Chuck’s lines and showing him exactly where he stands. This must have been just some random chick.
Only just catching up on old ones and this was voted for “best”….AWESOME!! , women can be so cruel sometimes bruhahahahah
PS is Chuck’s Mysterious Lady on a par with Charlie Brown’s “Little Red-Headed girl”?… completely unattainable?
Come-on lines are sooo insincere… and I’m a guy. All they warrant are come-back lines (as in “don’t come back”)… and this strip delivers a doozy. 😀
