Meet Agatha

Surprise! I know it’s not Tuesday, but we thought we’d post an extra strip this week, so we would get through the emotional support animal series quicker. We sometimes have the tendency to draw too many consecutive strips and when you only post one strip a week, the whole thing becomes a bit monotonous. So, there you go! But don’t tell anybody!!

    Excellent. But I agree with chuck this time : the only way I deal with spiders, is by killing them first..

    Back in the early 90’s, I was helping a guy with a race car and he had a tarantula. It was rather big, but eventually it died, and the carcass would turn up in various places to scare folks for a laugh.
    He was pretty bummed when he tried it on me, and I opened a tool drawer to get a wrench or screw driver, grabbed the needed item, closed the drawer, handed over the tool and asked “When did Charlotte die?”.

    I did show myself wrong about gender-correctness in the previous episode – “Clarence” must really be a male name though I am sure I remember some female by it, and not the least attractive! – but for Julio to address Sally as “Boy” is really taking things too far for me.

    @Jan Olieslagers,
    “(Oh) Boy” is just an emphasizing exclamation (or interjection). It is not an address to Sally specifically.

    “Boy did we ever have fun!” (see e. g. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/learner-english/boy_2)

    Boy, aren´t we the cynic! After all, I was not too far off by guessing he would bring along a vulture.- At least concerning the FAF (female acceptance factor). 😀
