Keeping up with the competition

Not to take anything away from the trusted good old Cessna 172, but I suspect what Hans really needs is a bigger and faster airplane to keep up with the competition. Maybe a King Air or a Pilatus. But then, who would fly it? Chuck? Maybe he needs a more competent, yet equally enthusiastic pilot? And the next question is, how much of a plane does a bunch of chickens really need?

Also, one needs to keep in mind that almost all of my expertise comes from an aviation background and less from a Particle Physics background. Maybe a boson, Higgs or otherwise, really IS the answer to Hans’s problem. I really wouldn’t know, but I doubt the Higgs Boson is FAA/PMA certified already …

    PLEEEEEAAASE make it a PC12! Its super versatile, not to mention the fact that it is the least depreciating turboprop IN THE WORLD! Hans would LOVE it!

    You could always give them the most cool Cessna ever made, the Skymaster… Chuck should be able to fly it.

    No FAA certification as yet, indeed; but this very afternoon I at the coffee machine I heard a rumour coming down to EASA having the thing in consideration!

    I’d go for TBM 900. Superfast and efficient, although not quite as big and comfortable as a PC12.

    They don’t need a Higgs boson to create mass, Hans has all the mass that they ever need, and it won’t speed the Cessna up.

    Missed opportunity, Julio… you could’ve told Hans that “Okay, we should be able to get them but we’ll have to adjust the plane weights, Higgs bosons are way heavier than expected.” True statement, though the masses are … on different scales (a Higgs is about a billionth of a billionth of a billionth of a kilogram).
