T-Shirt Contest!

T-Shirt ContestWith this November being our last month of celebrating 10 years of Chicken Wings, it’s time for one last anniversary contest!

As price for the winner we will give out one of our last remaining “Silver Chickens”. And this time we will also have a runner-up, or second winner, or whatever you want to call it, who will receive either a copy of
our new book
or a t-shirt of his or her choosing should he or she already have book number 4.

Here is what the new contest is all about, it’s pretty simple:

Tell us your idea for a Chicken Wings shirt!

Or, should you have no ideas for a new shirt,

tell us which one of our shirts is your favorite!

We will take suggestions on our forum as always, or on Facebook and Twitter and raffle off the winners among all the entries.

Every entry qualifies! We will choose a winner on Thursday next week, the 22nd of November.

So, what say you? Post away! Let’s get this show on the road, uhm, I mean, in the air! We can’t wait to see what you guys are cooking up!

A T-Shirt with an Arobatic Plane in invertet flight, and the Text: AEROBATIC because for Tennis, Golf, Soccer, Baseball you need only one Ball!!!!!

  2. Francisco L says:

The front with a zoom of Chuck on the cockpit with a typical unusual request to ATC, on the back the classic bubble with “Is that you Chuck?”

I’ll be honest. Most of your existing t-shirts are only for pilots, and I’m not one. I do however, really enjoy Chicken Wings. It’s kinda like Dilbert, you don’t have to be an engineer or designer to understand Dilbert’s problems, and you don’t have to be a aviation to understand Roost Air. If I had a Chicken Wings T-shirt, I’d be happy with a couple of panels or a whole strip from the comic, i.e. one that showcases the characters and the humor with a noticeable logo and smaller (but still readable) URL. (The sample pic on this page is god, even, but Stephen has done so many good pics, I know you can find a couple to immortalize on chests around the world.

Thank you so much for the input, Greg!
Have you seen our “Japanese Skywriter” shirt? (in the shop)
I believe you would even find this funny even if you’re not a pilot (as long as you have ever seen a Skywriter and the way they draw into the sky)

And I believe you can get any of our strips printed on a t-shirt, if you click “buy this strip” underneath the comic.

The cover of Chicken Wings book # 3:
Front: Chuck in the cockpit of his Corsair
Back: Chuck sitting at the table with a model of it in his hands and the words “Think Big” written close to it.

  6. Max says:

I m not a pilot but an aircraft mechanic. For this reason, i m fan of the idea of a t shirt with julio. Like the one you showed before, with this text : master of the machines. I would surely buy this one !

  7. Karl Winters says:

On the front, a close-up frontal view of Chuck (or Chuck and Julio) in the cockpit… on the back, the view from the back seat, showing the back of his (or their) head, the instrument panel, and the horizon nearly completely inverted. The front is accompanied with the Chicken Wings logo; the back says “Unusual Attititude!”

  8. Dale axline says:

Chuck standing beside his corsair with a Japan zero overhead with a bubble saying chuck is that you? On Japanese. That will get people asking questions.
